Thursday our class participated in We Give Books with readers from across the country and around the world as we read the book OTIS with the author Lauren Long live over live streaming video with Google hangout. Here are pictures from the event. Each student was reading along with the the author on the iPads.
The past two weeks in Social Studies we have been talking about different cultures and communities. In our story next week we will be reading about a charro family, or a Mexican cowboy and what their family and life is like. My question to you is where would you like to travel to see another culture and why?
